Video: J.T. Brown smashes a fan’s phone after being ejected

Tampa Bay forward J.T. Brown wasn’t too happy after being ejected against the Nashville Predators on Monday night. Following a brawl with Nashville’s Ryan Ellis, Brown was escorted off the ice by an official. He barked at Nashville’s bench before knocking the phone out of the hands of a Predators fan.

Brendan Gallagher on the shootout: “I have no moves and I hate the shootout”

Brendan Gallagher isn’t a fan of the shootout. The Montreal Canadiens pest-extraordinaire appeared on TSN690, where he admitted he wasn’t a fan of the after-overtime tiebreaker.

Video: Kris Russell crushes Tyler Motte with a huge hit

Kris Russell isn’t exactly known for his checking. Listed at 5’10” and 170 pounds, the Edmonton defenseman made plenty of noise with his surprising hit on Chicago’s Tyler Motte. As Motte tried to control the puck, he made the mistake of having his head down and was caught completely by surprise by a thunderous hit from Russell.
