KHL goalie Andrei Gavrilov thought play had stopped after his team appeared to have scored, but the officials kept the play going and it nearly resulted in Gavrilov allowing an embarrassing goal. Ryan Dzingel needed reconstructive surgery for his ear after taking a shot from Erik Karlsson to the head during the Ottawa Senators’ game on Thursday against the Boston Bruins. Dzingel was initially stitched up and returned to the game, but he needed additional treatment following the game.

Mike Hoffman did his best to contain Alexander Radulov, but the talented Russian had other ideas. In Tuesday’s Senators-Canadiens matchup Radulov scored an insane goal on a beautiful deke through Hoffman’s legs and proceeded to go right to the net and score.

Tampa Bay forward J.T. Brown wasn’t too happy after being ejected against the Nashville Predators on Monday night. Following a brawl with Nashville’s Ryan Ellis, Brown was escorted off the ice by an official. He barked at Nashville’s bench before knocking the phone out of the hands of a Predators fan.
