Unidentified NHL owner thinks the Coyotes will move to Vegas

We’ve talked about Las Vegas receiving an NHL franchise for quite some time now. For the most part, the belief has been that the NHL will award an expansion franchise to the city. Most of the rumors about relocating an existing team to Vegas have failed to gain any traction, but that hasn’t stopped one unidentified […]

Stat proves the Capitals are the best at blowing two-game leads

Fans of the Washington Capitals aren’t going to want to hear or acknowledge this stat. The Capitals lost Game 7 to the New York Rangers after failing to close the series out with a two-game lead. If the two-game lead narrative sounds familiar, it’s because the Caps have blown quite a few two-game leads. That’s […]

Brooks Orpik crushed Dan Boyle in Game 7 between the Capitals and Rangers. Boyle entered the zone fairly low and Orpik was there to deliver a crunching check. Was this a clean hit by Orpik? Boyle placed himself in a vulnerable position and Orpik appeared to keep his arm at his side and he didn’t leave […]

After eliminating the Flames, Boudreau had […]

The play is so strange that you might think the stick belongs to one of the Capitals, but […]

The Montreal Canadiens have climbed back into their series with the Tampa Bay Lightning and Carey Price has been a big reason why. Video: Ilya Kovalchuk scores a no-look goal against Belarus

Here’s a reminder that Ilya Kovalchuk is still really, really good. Russia was competing against Belarus during the World Hockey Championships and Kovalchuk scored a pretty awesome goal without even looking at the net. Kovalchuk drifted in and completely sold the fact he was going to pass. One slick wrister later, Kovalchuk tallied a nifty […]

The Wild never led in their series against the Blackhawks

The Chicago Blackhawks dominated the Minnesota Wild. This fact should be pretty obvious considering the Blackhawks swept the Wild out of the second round in four games, but it’s even more apparent once you learn that the Blackhawks never trailed in the series. The Wild never led in the series against the Blackhawks. Not even for one […]

Video: Michal Rozsival’s horrific ankle injury

If you’re squeamish, leave this post right now. Michal Rozsival’s ankle injury is pretty difficult to watch even if you’ve seen some of the most brutal injuries in hockey. Rozsival was skating back to pursue the puck and lost his balance, awkwardly landing on his left ankle. Last chance. Don’t say we didn’t warn you. […]
