We’ve mocked the media in Winnipeg for basically trying to boot Evander Kane off the Jets. Harsh articles and stern criticism have hovered over Kane throughout his career with the Jets and its mostly been fueled by the local media.
After the most recent Kane incident (see: clothes in shower which led to Kane skipping a game), the Winnipeg Sun is urging for Kane’s removal on its cover.

Is this taking things a bit too far? Probably. We don’t doubt that there have been plenty of off-ice issues, but it’s as if all of Winnipeg forgot that Kane is really, really good at hockey.
