If you are an Edmonton Oilers fan, I have to say I am very, very sorry. It looks like another year down the drain. I am sure you are fed up, and guess what, so is your coach. Todd McLellan looks pretty defeated in this clip from his press conference.
“We’ve been together for 200 days and we talked a lot about competing and working hard, showing up.”
McLellan is obviously exasperated in this press conference. The idiom goes “only way you can go is up” yet the Oilers continue to sink to new lows. How does this keep happening to them? Answers won’t be had this season but you’ll always have next year, right Edmonton?
