Beau Bennett was forced to leave Monday’s game with a shoulder injury after T.J. Oshie sent the Penguins forward into the boards. The hit sent Oshie to the penalty box for two minutes for interference, but some Penguins fans – including the announcers on the clip below – believe it crossed a line.
The hit looks clean to us, but it’s still unfortunate that Bennett suffered an injury.
The Department of Player Safety will review, but it’d be pretty surprising if they handed out any additional punishments.
