Kaspars Daugavins’ shootout goal was pretty nifty, but the real story here is the feeble attempted save by Slovak goalie Jan Laco. Daugavins’ had a pretty unique approach, dragging the puck with the tip of his stick, but Laco’s “I’ll just lay down” effort is something special.
