It is not something we see very often, but goalie fights may be one of the best things about hockey. Hockey has amazing displays of skill, night in and night out, but we rarely see goalie fights. The most recent goalie fight involved Ray Emery and Braden Holtby and it wasn’t exactly a fair fight.
So when Robin Lehner was getting into a fracas and Ben Scrivens was giving him the evil eye, many around the league started to get excited.
After the game, Ben Scrivens had more to say about the incident in question:
“He is a big boy, a bit of a psycho.”
I don’t think I could have described it any better myself, Ben. Hopefully someday soon we get another goalie fight.
