Flyers goalie Michal Neuvirth made an incredible save by anybody’s standards. Now add in the fact that he made this save with a one-goal lead with under two seconds left in the game. Also add in the fact that the Flyers are chasing a playoff spot and this is pretty much a must win, along with the rest of the games on the Flyers schedule.

There has already been a bunch of Zapruder-like arguing on social media (“back … and to the left”), but there’s no clear evidence that puck went in. So our official stance is: holy heck what a save. Degree of difficulty combined with game and season on the line, and they don’t get much better than this.
For the Wild, they’ll think about this short stretch of real estate for a while.
