It has been a tough year for the Nashville Predators. After acquiring Ryan Johansen, the Predators have had an up and down campaign with not a lot to show for it. One of the poster boys of their disappointment has been Filip Forsberg. After having a stellar rookie campaign, his play has come back down to earth. This doesn’t mean that from time to time Forsberg hasn’t shown glimpses of his play from last year.
His slick moves were on display last night against the Lightning.
Only a handful of players in this league can make that play. Many would panic and shoot that right into Ben Bishop’s pads. The goal was a thing of beauty and hopefully a sign of things to come for the Predators.
