The Minnesota Wild didn’t show up until the third period of Game 6 against the Dallas Stars. Trailing 4-0, the Wild rattled off three goals (two in a span of 16 seconds) to get right back into the game. That’s when Devan Dubnyk lost sight of the puck and accidentally kicked it into his own goal.
Some crazy bounces have featured in this year’s playoffs and you can add this Stars goal to that list. Dubnyk completely loses the puck once it makes contact in front of him and has no idea it’s just below him. Charlie Coyle desperately tries to clear the crease, but Dubnyk’s leg sweeps the puck into the net.
