After taking a nasty slap shot to the face last night, Dan Hamhuis was hospitalized.
Willie Desjardins was quoted as saying: “Hamhuis lost some teeth and probably broke his jaw, his wife was with him when he left; he’ll spend the night in the hospital.”

This is a tough blow to a Canucks team who is holding on by a thread this year in the putrid Pacific division. Thankfully, the injury does not appear to be too serious.
