Here’s a funny goof courtesy of the scoreboard inside the Staples Center. Roughly halfway through the first period between the Kings and Rangers, the scoreboard glitched and displayed that the Rangers were leading by a score of 999 to two. Remarkably, the Rangers only required five shots to score all 999 goals. Pretty impressive.
The Rangers did end up winning this game, but only by a 4-3 score.
