Jonathan Quick is sometimes unfairly judged as an average goaltender that plays on a great team. While that idea may have some merit, what cannot be questioned is Quick’s athleticism. It is almost unparalleled in the sport and he put it on full display Wednesday night against Colorado.
Wow.
Very few people can make that save. It takes superior hand eye coordination to pull it off. The doubters may be right though as they lost the game 4-3 to an Avalanche team on back to back nights.
