The Nashville Predators made the Toronto Maple Leafs look silly on Tuesday night. The Preds dropped a nine spot on the Leafs as they climbed back on top of the Central Division. As you might imagine, Maple Leafs fans weren’t too pleased. They reportedly even began to cheer for the Predators as the night wore on.
So, when was the last time the Leafs allowed nine goals? Over 20 years.
This is the first time the Leafs have allowed nine goals in a game since 1991.
