GIF: Max Pacioretty confuses Steven Stamkos for a teammate, makes an awful pass

It’s going to take Max Pacioretty a long time to live this one down. After exiting his own zone, he dropped the puck back to who he thought was a teammate. Instead, it was Steven Stamkos and the Lightning forward had no trouble lighting the lamp.

We joke about giving an assist to the opposing team, but here it’s really deserved.
