The Toledo Walleye of the ECHL plan to honor Don Cherry in a gaudy way on Saturday, January 23rd. As other minor league teams have done in the past, the Walleye will wear jerseys which pay tribute to Cherry and his infamous suits.
Gotta love the trademark collar and flower on the lapel. The blue and yellow matches the color scheme of the Walleye, but we wouldn’t be surprised to see Cherry pull out a similar suit from his wardrobe.
