Poor Louis Domingue. The Coyotes goalie thought that Dustin Byfuglien was going to dump the puck in the corner last night. And with good reason … Byfuglien acted as if he was going to dump it. But Domingue didn’t have the option of reading this viral story after the fact, where he would have been warned: “You won’t believe what happens next”:
Byfuglien had to be slightly off balance to sell the dump, and yet he still put a hard enough shot on goal to get by Domingue before he could get his pad back. That, my friends, is elite talent. Although it looks bad for Domingue, Byfuglien gave him no chance on this with equal parts raw talent and brains.
