Alex Ovechkin approves of fans voting for John Scott

As hockey fans continue to have fun with the NHL All-Star Game voting system by voting repeatedly for John Scott and other random players, media outlets and players have voiced their opinion against these selections making the competition. Even though the game isn’t supposed to be taken too seriously, some have criticized fans for voting for Scott.

Alex Ovechkin is on the opposite side of the fence and believes it’s good for the league to have some new faces in the All-Star Game.

As Ovechkin has maintained during his career and especially at the All-Star Fantasy Drafts and Games, it’s important not to take the league too seriously.
