It was a nice, balmy 80 degrees or so today in Los Angeles today, and the low tonight should be around 50. You know what that brings to my mind? Not hockey.
The Los Angeles Dodgers apparently agree with me and 90% of hockey fans.
Some people are irritated with the flippant language of the tweet, but seriously, they're right. There's a high potential for ice conditions tonight to be awful, because no one in their right mind plays outdoor hockey in LA. It's not a slam against hockey, and it's certainly not a slam against the Los Angeles Kings, who have worked very closely with the Dodgers for cross-sport promotion.
It's just one of those things that, regardless of if it should've been said or not, is correct.
