We usually ridicule dives and embellishment here at PDL. This time we’re tossing our morals aside in order to laugh at Jesper’s Fast’s incredible flop against the New York Islanders. There are dives and then there’s this masterpiece. This performance actually worked and drew a penalty. Amazing.

Oilers mathematically eliminated from the playoffs, challenging NHL record

It’s official. The Edmonton Oilers have officially been eliminated from the 2014-15 playoffs. The Oilers’ 5-2 loss to the Detroit Red Wings put the final nail in the coffin with a decent number of games still left on the schedule.
