It’s safe to say the Toronto Maple Leafs and Vancouver Canucks don’t like each other.
The two Canadian franchises’ disdain for one another was in full effect during the Maple Leafs’ 6-3 victory in Toronto.
The Canucks’ anger was fueled when Nazem Kadri head-hunted Daniel Sedin, knocking Sedin’s helmet clean off. Jannik Hansen instigated a fight in defense of the long-time star.

Derek Dorsett then went after the pesky Leo Komarov and jawed with the Leafs’ bench on his way out of the game. Dorsett also received an instigator penalty.

Seven seconds later, Alex Burrows and Morgan Rielly got in a scrap, after Burrows speared him early in the game.

Just over three minutes later, all hell broke lose. Matt Martin went after rookie Troy Stecher which caused Canucks goaltender Ryan Miller to drop the mitts and go after the Maple Leafs tough guy.

Frederik Andersen was also ready to go — although the two never really exchanged many punches — but both were ejected.

The referees had a busy night. Look at all these penalties in a three-minute span:
That’s a lot fighting in today’s game.
Something tells me, the next time these two clubs lineup, more fisticuffs will occur.
