Sidney Crosby is having himself one hell of a season. Even though he missed a portion of the year, Crosby is leading the NHL in goals scored and continues to impress night after night.
Facing the Coyotes on Monday, Crosby showed off his baseball skills and swatted in a puck out of the air and past Louis Domingue.
The most impressive thing here is how Crosby waited for the puck to fall below the crossbar before he swatted it in. The hand-eye coordination is remarkable, but that display of patience in an actual game is truly something else.
That’s an insane display of skill. The youngsters around the NHL continue to grab the headlines, but Crosby is proving in a big way he’s still the best. Crosby is close to a goal-per-game average which is hard to believe in the modern NHL.
