The new NHL season is almost upon us and with it comes the return of NBC’s Rivalry Night. The network released a new commercial for Rivalry Night and it’s pretty awesome.
Remember: Love Hurts.
That’s an outstanding commercial with a great sampling of heated moments seen around the NHL in recent memory. Who could forget Ryan Reaves blowing a kiss towards the Dallas Stars’ bench? Or some of the crushing checks or goalie meltdowns?
Let’s hope the new season provides as many memorable moments as the ones featured in NBC’s promo. At the very least, NBC is getting the new hockey year off to a great start.
