Evander Kane always seems to be at the center of some sort of controversy. This time it’s for spearing Ben Bishop after Bishop stopped Kane’s wraparound attempt during Buffalo’s game against Tampa Bay on Thursday night.
Kane’s spear wasn’t the most vicious of spears ever seen in the NHL, but it still crossed a line. He was frustrated after Bishop stopped his attempt and decided to take out his frustrations on the goaltender. Kane’s spear appeared to be aimed at a pretty sensitive area, but it looks like he mostly missed.
