David Pastrnak isn’t known for big hits and is more known for putting pucks into the back of the net. Imagine everyone’s surprise when he put a beat down on Dan Girardi in the neutral zone.
Pastrnak is going to be getting a hearing for the hit. The question becomes, how long is he going to be suspended? He has no prior history but the intent behind the hit was a bit much.
It could be that he has been playing with Brad Marchand too much and it is rubbing off on him a little bit. Regardless, the Bruins winger is looking at some games missed and that isn’t where this middling Bruins team needs him.
