The Montreal Canadiens fell behind 4-0 to the San Jose Sharks on Friday, resulting in Carey Price being sent to the showers early. Price, who was being pulled for the first time since October of 2014, took his time to stare down at his bench as he exited.
The Montreal bench was probably pretty uneasy with Price’s starring considering what he recently did when he was unhappy with Kyle Palmieri.
Price’s stare down immediately drew comparisons to Patrick Roy’s infamous stare which ultimately ended up with a trade out of Montreal.

Comparisons aside, Price’s stare doesn’t appear to have resulted in any hurt feelings or any controversy as he’s slated to start Saturday’s game against the Washington Capitals.
