The Columbus Blue Jackets had another disappointing year last season, but they had a lone bright spot with the gameday posters they were putting out. Artist Anthony Zych was responsible for the work and over the summer he announced that we was going to be moving on to the New Jersey Devils. Many were unsure if the posters would go with him or if he would have the creative control he did with the Jackets.
As you’ll see, the posters are still alive and as awesome as ever.

Seeing the process of an artist is always fascinating. He will be afforded many opportunities and it will benefit many Devils fans. He’ll be making a poster for each Devils home game and a limited amount will be available (300) at the team store where they will be selling for $5 a poster. Not too bad of a deal.
The NHL can be boring and without its quirks, but this is one of the better parts of the league because it is so simple yet so creative.
