Penguins debut swanky new Stanley Cup rings

The Pittsburgh Penguins can now put a ring on it to remember their Stanley Cup Championship season.

The Penguins were presented with custom Jostens-made rings on Saturday in a private ceremony at the Heinz History Center.  The ring features a Penguins logo crest in black onyx stone with a half-carat diamond. It features 18 yellow diamonds, one tapered baguette diamond (whatever that is) and thirty custom-cut princess diamonds.

To summarize, there’s lots of diamonds. Over 300 if you’re counting at home.

From the official description:

This one-of-a-kind ring is hand crafted and features over 300 diamonds totaling almost 9 brilliant carats.

Not a bad reminder for a career moment. You can read full details on the ring here.
