Doug Maclean is a man with a bunch of opinions that get broadcast on Sportsnet. He has decided that his most recent rant would be about the Florida Panthers and the way they went about firing Gerard Gallant.
Maclean conveniently seems to forget that he himself fired Gallant when with the Columbus Blue Jackets. Nonetheless, he decided to tweet at the Panthers minority owner Doug Cifu and let him know his thoughts. Cifu’s response was simply fantastic.

It may seem like Maclean is trying to take the high road after being taken down violently, but it reads more like “crap, what do I do now?” It has always been a bit silly for Maclean to be on Sportsnet spouting his opinions when his accomplishments up to this point have been almost zero. Much like many others out there, he is just an internet blowhard.
