The Dallas Stars in-arena staff has jokes, lots of jokes. So when incoming White House press secretary Sean Spicer insisted that 1.5 million people attended Friday’s presidential inauguration on Saturday, the Stars decided to have a little fun with that when they announced their own attendance for their Saturday night home game:

I’m sure pictures and video from the game would prove otherwise, but the white floor covering (which is actually the ice), probably plays tricks on your eyes to minimize the amount of people that were in attendance for Dallas’ 4-3 OT loss to the Washington Capitals. I mean, who are we to judge, right? So very well played, Stars game crew.
Most impressive was that this joke originated in a red state.
