The Dallas Stars may have the most entertaining jumbotron in the NHL. Whether it’s mocking the city of Winnipeg or calling out North Korea, the humor on display is extremely clever and usually brilliant. This time the Stars targeted that awful Nationwide ad from the Super Bowl. Well played.

GIF: Mike Green checks Kyle Clifford into the Washington bench

Mike Green’s future with the Washington Capitals is a mystery. Green took all of […]

Daniel Carcillo won’t change how he plays following suspension

Daniel Carcillo has a pretty colorful history when it comes to fines and suspensions from the NHL. The Blackhawks forward usually skates on a pretty fine line when it comes to playing aggressive hockey and dangerous hockey, so it came as no surprise that he was suspended for six games after an ugly cross check […]

GIF: Henrik Lundqvist makes a nice pass with his head

Henrik Lundqvist knows how to use his head. He recently stopped a puck with his throat and now he used his head to make a rather crafty pass to his teammate. It was a risky play, but you can tell Lundqvist knew he wasn’t going to be able to get his glove up in time. (H/T Reddit […]

The All-Star break is over which means it’s time to get back to doing one of the things we enjoy most – Hockey Fights of the Week! We took a week off as the All-Star break basically meant we only would’ve had a few fights to choose from, so we combined two weeks into one. […]

GIF: NHL linesman gets a stick caught in his visor

Seeing an NHL player with a stick caught in his visor is one of the most amusing scenes in hockey. A more hilarious scene is when an official has a stick caught in his visor, but that’s a rare sight. Luckily for all of us, the Flames-Oilers game delivered just that. (H/T Reddit Hockey)

Video: Henrik Lundqvist takes a puck to the throat

There was a scary moment in the Rangers-Hurricanes game when goaltender Henrik Lundqvist took both a stick and a puck to the throat. A stick appears to lift Lundqvist’s mask at the exact moment a puck was fired at the net. Lundqvist writhed on the ice, but soon was able to collect himself and remained […]

We all know that the Buffalo Sabres are one of the worst teams in the NHL. That statement isn’t exactly a revelation. However, all of the headlines detailing how bad the team is have died down as the story is now all too familiar. You can only say a team is bad so many times. […]
