Video: Pierre McGuire is doing water polo commentary and says the sport is “very similar” to hockey

Did you think you could avoid Pierre McGuire all summer long? Wrong! NBC stuck McGuire on color commentary for water polo at the Rio Olympics much to the chagrin of hockey fans everywhere.

McGuire wasted no time making a hockey comment and when he was quizzed about the connection between water polo and hockey, he said the two are very similar.

What?

You nailed it, Pierre. They’re pretty much the same sport.
