Video: Junior hockey player scores highlight goal by dangling the puck from his knees

Junior hockey leagues all over North America are often overlooked due to so much coverage being placed on the “big leagues” such as the NHL and even the AHL. The BCHL produced multiple first-round picks this past year and continues to grow as a league. Jagger Williamson of the Vernon Vipers may end up being the next household name for people to remember.

His move against Salmon Arm Silverbacks makes me think he has more up his sleeve.

Two fantastic moments after the move, the first being the goalie not moving an inch. Was he in so much awe that he couldn’t process what he had just seen? The second being Williamson giving a slight hug to the referee who he wanted to give him some love to apparently. Can’t blame the guy. I would celebrate with anyone that was willing if I scored a goal like that.
