Drew Doughty may have just earned himself a nomination for the Vezina Trophy after he sprawled out in the crease to rob the Sharks of the go-ahead goal.
It’s pretty remarkable Doughty was able to keep the puck out considering his momentum was carrying him into the net and the angle in which he entered the crease wasn’t square to the shooter. Considering the score was tied 2-2 when Doughty did his best Jonathan Quick impression, you can’t emphasize enough how big of a save this was.
