Video: Minnesota Wild coach Mike Yeo yells at his team during practice

The Minnesota Wild are in an ugly downward spiral and head coach Mike Yeo isn’t sure what to do about it. He has already accused his team of not having a winner’s attitude and players have already said that they have hit rock bottom.

With just two wins over their last 10 games, you’d expect the Wild to be giving it their all in practice in an effort to turn things around. That wasn’t the case and Yeo was pretty unhappy with his team’s effort.

This is actually a pretty common scene in the NHL, but usually it occurs behind closed doors. Yeo didn’t waste any time and instead vented to his team during the practice.

Is this the right way to go about resurrecting a hockey team or will this cause the Wild to sink further in the standings? At this stage of the game, the Wild really don’t have much to lose. If they sink any further, the Wild will be all but officially out of a playoff spot. The blame likely won’t fall on Yeo, but the coach is certainly showing his frustrations.
