Game 2 between the Minnesota Wild and the St. Louis Blues will likely be remembered for the Blues’ victory and Vladimir Tarasenko’s hat trick, but there was one save from Devan Dubnyk which deserves to be highlighted.
The Wild pulled Dubnyk with time winding down in the third, but Dubnyk was forced to make a desperation save on a Steve Ott shot from center ice.
(This video is a bit choppy, but it’s the best we’ve found.)
Ott certainly didn’t get any mustard on it, but that’s still a big save.
