The Anaheim Ducks and the Colorado Avalanche will be wearing new alternate sweaters in 2015-16. Details about the jerseys have been mostly kept quiet save a few teases here or there, but Icethetics apparently has the first look of what’s to come for the Ducks and Avs.

The Avs:
The images are just renderings, but they should give fans a pretty accurate idea of what to expect. The Ducks will be bringing back their classic Mighty Ducks logo and the Avs are adding in their the iconic “C” from the Colorado state flag. The Ducks are also really embracing the color orange and at least here the alternate looks pretty awesome. We’ll never knock them for bringing back the Mighty Ducks logo. As for the Avs, the new look isn’t bad, but the “C” logo seems a bit overdone now that it’ll be on the shoulders of the home and road jersey as well as the main feature of the alternate.
Icethetics is always extremely accurate with this information (check out the St. Louis Blues uniforms from prior to last season for proof), so these should be pretty close to what we’ll see on the ice in 2015-16.
