The Minnesota Wild fell to the Dallas Stars by a lopsided 7-1 score on Saturday night. The club has already been accused of “not having a winning attitude” by head coach Mike Yeo and that appeared to be on full display in a dismal road effort. The Wild have slipped to 6th in the Central Division and are 3-4-3 over their last 10 games. Have they hit rock bottom?
According to Wild forward Ryan Carter, they have.
Ryan Carter: "This one stings. … Feels like rock bottom." #mnwild

Blame pretty much lies on the entire team after a 7-1 loss and the same can be said of a lengthy mediocre streak.
Zach Parise: "We've got a lot of players that individually need to be a lot better." Said that includes him. #mnwild

Meanwhile the Dallas Stars have been playing some outstanding hockey and the Wild were no match. Still, the common theme from the Wild over the last several weeks is a total lack of energy.
Parise: "it's not fun, it's embarrassing. … It's been a common theme – no energy.

The question now is how do the Wild fix this problem? Can the answer be found internally or will the team need to go out and shake things up? As the league approaches its midway point, the Wild are quickly running out of time.
