Sports fans commemorating a special moment in their team’s history isn’t exactly a new idea. What is new, and what’s frankly dumbfounding, is someone getting a tattoo of Shawn Thornton squirting water on P.K. Subban. To each their own, but this is one odd moment in NHL history to carry around with you everywhere you go. Considering Shawn Thornton’s time in Boston is over, it’s safe to say that in a few years this tattoo will generate more questions and confused reactions than laughs. Actually, it might be doing that already.
