The Buffalo Sabres will own an NHL record at the conclusion of the 2013-14 season. The club will dress its ninth goaltender on Saturday when they face the Boston Bruins. Connor Knapp will back Matt Hackett as the Sabres play in their 81st game of the season.
Knapp joins an enormous list of goaltenders who have suited up for the Sabres at least one time this season. While it’s important to note that not all of these gentlemen actually took the ice (a few didn’t), it really paints an accurate picture of the bizarre and depressing season in Buffalo.
