Did you catch P.K. Subban’s embellishment of a high stick against the New York Rangers? Rick Nash caught Subban with his stick, but keep a close eye on Subban’s skates.
Some more fuel for the Subban haters. Canadiens fans were quick to note that David Desharnais took a high stick, didn’t embellish and the officials didn’t call it, so maybe Subban was trying to force the issue.
It’s unfortunate. Subban is a polarizing figure in the NHL and he’s under a tight microscope. A reputation of diving is one that’s hard to reverse.
