Semyon Varlamov looked like he was going to steal a win for the Avalanche against the Wild on Monday night. Mikael Granlund had a different idea, calling on an incredible individual effort to give the Wild a huge victory.
What you don’t see here is Granlund take the puck back to the boards in the first place. He then turns and does what you see above. It looked like Granlund decided in one swift movement to just take care of business himself.
