Things have not gone well for the Toronto Maple Leafs as of late. Once thought to have a solid foothold in the Eastern Conference playoff picture, the Leafs have lost seven consecutive games thanks to a 4-2 beating by the Philadelphia Flyers on Friday night.
Enter Riddick Bowe.
Bowe, a former undisputed heavyweight champion and loyal Maple Leafs fan, vowed to knock out Leafs head coach Randy Carlyle on Twitter on Thursday if they were to lose to the Flyers:
If the @MapleLeafs lose tomorrow im going to knock out Randy Carlyle. One punch between the eyes #TMLtalk #Leafs #LeafsNation #BoweLeafsBowe
