Are you going to be alone around Valentine’s Day this year? Do you live in Massachusetts or New Hampshire? And do you love Tyler Seguin?
Good news! You could be in luck for a really awkward moment!
The Boston Bruins and Dunkin Donuts have teamed up to create a Valentine’s DDay with Tyler Seguin contest. The contest will run until February 9th and six lucky winners will have lunch with the young forward on February 13th. In addition to the lunch, the winners will also receive a $19 Dunkin Donuts gift card and some sort of Bruins gear. If you want to enter, you’ll have to do it on Dunkin’ Donuts Facebook fan page.
It isn’t the first time that Seguin will lend his time to the donut chain. In his rookie year, he participated in their “Caught Cold” campaign where he would randomly give away a pair of tickets to ice coffee drinkers. You might think that donuts and hockey players don’t exactly match but I think we’ll just assume that opposites attract in this scenario. And at first glance, it seems like this contest would be geared toward Tyler’s young female fans. However, the pastry king has opened the door for the guys as well. There is a chance of a bromance occurring (Brody Jenner and Zdeno Chara not included). Unless you’re under 21, any male entering this contest could be in for an uncomfortable lunch.
I can’t help but to imagine the a pair of the contest winners and Seguin eating lunch while one of the winners begins to sing the best friends song found in the first Hangover movie…
