Predators “cautiously optimistic” about signing college star Jimmy Vesey

The Nasvhille Predators are “cautiously optimistic” about their chances of signing college star Jimmy Vesey. In an interview on Sportsnet’s Hockey Central at Noon on Friday, Predators general manager David Poile said he’s hoping to get a deal with Vesey done in the next two to three weeks.

NHL expansion decision expected in June, potential expansion draft rules announced

With potential NHL expansion on its way, a date has been set for the official decision. Though a final decision hasn’t been made, rules for an expansion draft were announced.
