Jamie Benn wasn’t too pleased when Jason Zucker made a nice defensive play to steal the puck. Upon losing the puck, Benn turned and used both hands to deliver a nasty slash to Zucker. The Philadelphia Flyers had a bit of fun at the expense of their players. The team’s equipment manager placed a fake snake inside a Gatorade cooler which rose up when the players lifted the lid. The prank is pretty convincing and most of the Flyers panicked when face-to-face with a rubber snake.

Evgeni Malkin completely lost his cool with Justin Williams and punched the LA forward in the head after both men fell to the ice. It’s clear the two men were pretty heated, but Malkin crosses the line by punching Williams after he’s defenseless on the ice. (H/T Reddit Hockey)

Here’s the worst call by an official so far in 2014-15. Braden Holtby turned and fell down and the Detroit Red Wings quickly shot the puck into the empty net. The goal was swiftly nullified due to a goaltender intereference penalty which was handed out to the Red Wings. Terrible error by the officials.
