Teemu Selanne is returning for one more season

You can heave a sigh of relief, hockey fans (especially those of you around the age of 30 and above). Teemu Selanne, the living embodiment of your childhood, will be playing for one more season.

Unfortunately, that means that this is his last year, but at least us greedy hockey fans are getting one more year out of the man who will probably forever claim the rookie scoring record as his own. Teemu has been a fixture in the NHL since his rookie year in 1992, and let's face it – Teemu Watch has become a very real and very emotional time every single season. We are all aware of his mortality, despite the fact that he always seems to push it back for one more year. One day he's going to retire, and that day seems to be whatever the last day of the Ducks season is.
