Report: Canucks have received multiple offers for Eddie Lack

The Vancouver Canucks have been shopping Eddie Lack and they’re reportedly already received multiple offers for the goaltender. There are a few other notable goalies on the market (Cam Talbot and Robin Lehner, for instance), but it looks like Lack has drawn the interest of several teams.

It has also been reported that the Buffalo Sabres are among the most interested.

The Sabres have also expressed interest in New York’s Talbot, but it isn’t clear which goaltender they’d rather have in the mix. Based on all of the reports and rumors, the Sabres are a serious player in the hunt for a goaltender.

As for the Canucks moving Lack, we’ve already discussed why that might not be the best idea. The interest in Lack is high and for good reason. Lack has a ton of upside and the Canucks may be taking a serious risk in dealing him away. The club should fetch a nice return if they trade Lack and his value is certainly high, but it’s possible they’d be parting ways with their best netminder.
