I'm sure that Ray Charles will be tuned in to Game 5 of the Stanley Cup Finals tonight, cheering on his beloved Bruins. I'm not sure that he'll be able to see any of it, though. No, not because he's dead. Because he's blind.
Obviously, I am not speaking of the Ray Charles that you are thinking of. I am speaking of Ray Charles, the blind golden retriever. Featured on Buzzfeed, Ray is a huge Bruins fan. He's also a puppy, and is adorable.
Every hockey team winds up with unofficial playoff anthems and unofficial playoff this and that. I personally think that Ray should be the unofficial mascot of the Boston Bruins. Sure, he's probably not as clever and huge as the big bear, but look at that face? How can you not pull for the Bs after looking at it?
